Step inside The Bull

Dating back to the 1830s, The Bull is rumoured to be built on the site of a house once owned by Sir Walter Raleigh and is one of the most established watering holes in the Islington Upper Street area.

As well as being close to a number of theatre venues including The Almeida and The King’s Head pub theatre, The Bull is also just down the road from Sadler’s Wells, famous for being the world’s number one venue dedicated to the performance of international dance.

With wrap-around full-length windows, The Bull’s interior mixes the traditional and contemporary with a touch of urban cool, offering a cosy upstairs lounge as well as classic downstairs front bar - an ideal space to relax and socialise, and an excellent pub for meet-ups on account of its nearby transport links.  Attracting a diverse clientele, The Bull reflects the upbeat, cosmopolitan vibe of its Islington neighbourhood whilst holding the authenticity of a true British local close to its heart.

Within easy reach of central London via nearby Angel tube station, The Bull is perched on a street corner along Islington’s buzzing Upper Street, at the centre of one of London’s most eclectic and trendy neighbourhoods. Well-connected to central London, yet offers a perfect spot for relaxation and refreshment slightly off the beaten track.
